Psc steering problems. What PSC pump would be recommended or AGR or a newer model pump? Would Jul 24, 2023 · Like I said before, I've used all of them in the past and I'd highly recommend the PSC pump and be done with it. I want to replace it but am not sure what to go with in terms of factory replacement or upgraded pump. The pump puts out higher flow than the GM pump and their box is the only actual upgrade over the OEM box. Maybe the gentleman at Blue-Top or (i think people have mentioned Lee's) could work some magic on it. May 12, 2023 · It sounds like the PSC box is a good upgrade, but that leads to new pitman arm, which can lead to new center link etc I would rather buy once, cry once, than piece meal parts which might now match / work well together. I use a vacuum pump to get the initial air pockets out. . They're proud of them, but my buddy that put one on his LMM dually with oversized tires on it says it drives and turns better than stock. I can bear to be without my truck for a little while longer to save that kind of $. The internals in the PSC box are bigger (shaft, bearings, gears etc). I find it entertaining that a busy guy like you can find the precious time to waste posting about this. with 40's you have to do something to the steering your stock gear box won't handle that, although your stock pump should be a saginaw which is plenty.
